Start with graphene to get used to the parameters
For Fe metal – just try and fit the 2p3/2 – this region has a steep background
Don’t forget about the plasmons that may appear!
Ta metal vs Oxide will be a test of using your lineshapes in a model fit. Remember – the oxide peaks here are not asymmetric! Fit the metal only first and use this to inform the metal + oxide model. Don’t forget about the 5p peak present (use the element library (F10) to identify rogue peaks).
